Poland is home to some of Europe’s most breathtaking mountain ranges. I found myself in Krakow and had the chance to visit the Tatra Mountains in August, where the rugged peaks and beauty took my breath away. The coolest part – the mountains are in both Poland and Slovakia. We hiked in and out of two countries!

Of course, the mountains also call you from a yoga perspective. Practicing yoga amidst mountain landscapes can enhance your sense of peace and connection. The meditative poses allow you to embrace the stillness and the awe (of being in two countries at once!).
The higher altitude also means cleaner, fresher air, which can invigorate your breathing, encouraging more deep and full breaths. Yet, at the same time, you are grounding to the natural terrain, connecting more deeply to the earth.

Whether you have the luxury to embrace a mountain like the ones in Poland or Slovakia or closer to home like Mount Work, embrance the beauty. It’s a immersive journey into natures grandeur with breathtaking views, invigorating air and the serene landscape that can be a transformative experiencd for anyone curious enough to try.
