Who is Westcoast Duck yoga?
Hi. I’m Michelle.
Westcoast Duck Yoga was born from a simple question:
What if yoga wasn’t just for the flexible, the young, or the well-off? What if it was for all of us — especially those who need it most?
This vision grew from years of witnessing the quiet barriers many people face: aging bodies, chronic pain, grief, mobility challenges, or financial limitations. As a yoga therapist and community volunteer, I saw how often people were left out of traditional wellness spaces — and how deeply they longed to be welcomed in.
So I created Westcoast Duck Yoga: a space where gentle movement meets radical inclusion. A place where you don’t have to be strong, stretchy, or spiritual to belong. You just have to show up — exactly as you are.

Yoga practice is just that- practice. My passion is to share the benefits of yoga to anyone who wants to explore. I approach yoga with curiosity and play but the core of my practice is heart-based principles. Anyone can do yoga. Everyone should have access. Thank you for stopping by.
